Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Holds Meetings in New York
New York/ Information Office/ 27 September 2017/ HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
HE also met with the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Elhadj As Sy.
HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs also met with the Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program David Beasley.
The meetings dealt with the assistance provided by the State of Qatar to the international humanitarian organizations and the humanitarian situation in conflicts areas , especially in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and other areas.
