Foreign Minister Meets Tunisian Counterpart, Swiss Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs

HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held Thursday separate meetings with HE Foreign Minister of Tunisia Khemaies Jhinaoui and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the Swiss Confederation Pascale Baeriswyl, on the margin of the 72nd. session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meetings discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them in addition to topics of mutual interest.
During the meetings, HE the Foreign Minister discussed the unjust siege imposed on the State of Qatar, which blatantly violates international human rights laws and charters, particularly the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN General Assembly resolution on the outcome of the World Summit of 16 September 2005, the provisions of international law and the rules governing relations between states.
His Excellency stressed that The State of Qatar still believes in the importance of constructive dialogue to solve the crisis.
