Foreign Minister Participates in Ministerial Meeting on Syria
New York/ Information Office/ 18 September 2017/ HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani participated in the ministerial meeting on Syria, on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.
The meeting discussed initiatives to ease the escalation in Syria, the efforts of the political negotiations, and the efforts exerted to liberate the Syrian territories from ISIS group. The meeting also discussed the needs of stability and humanitarian assistance in the post-ISIS period.
