Qatar Strongly Condemns the Double Attack in Southern Iraq

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the double attack on a restaurant and a police station in southern Iraq that led to the deaths of a number of people.
In a statement Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.
The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences of to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Iraq, and its wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.
