Foreign Minister Meets French Counterpart

HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Yves Le Drian, who is currently visiting Doha.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of boosting and developing them as wll as the developments of the Gulf crisis and the Kuwaiti mediation efforts, in addition to the developments on the regional arena, especially in Libya and Syria.
HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani reiterated Qatar's support for Kuwaiti mediation, stressing the need for dialogue among all parties to resolve the Gulf crisis.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the security coordination with the French authorities in the field of exchanging security information and mutual visits of officials from both countries.
HE the Foreign Minister affirmed Qatar's keenness to increase its economic cooperation with France during coming period.
