Qatar Establishes Diplomatic Relations with Saint Kitts and Nevis

The State of Qatar and Saint Kitts and Nevis signed the establishment of diplomatic relations between them at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations today.
HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani signed on behalf of the State of Qatar, while Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations Ambassador Sam Terrence Condor signed on behalf of his country.
The two parties stressed the desire to establish bilateral relations in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and on the basis of the principles of peaceful coexistence, equality and mutual respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.
The two sides expressed their confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation and the consolidation of world peace.
