Lebanese Grand Mufti Meets Qatar's Ambassador

Grand Mufti of Lebanon, Sheikh Abdul-Latif Derian, met HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali bin Hamad Al Marri.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and means of boosting and developing them, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
In addition, the meeting touched on the current Gulf crisis, with HE Ambassador Al Marri stressing that sitting to the dialogue table is the only solution for the crisis on the basis of respect for the sovereignty of states and the rights of their peoples, and under the umbrella of the United Nations and international conventions that reject any siege by a country against another.
For his part, Mufti Derian reaffirmed that wisdom, dialogue, solidarity and unity among Arab peoples is the basis for maintaining a line of accord among Arab states and sticking to it and defending it in order to confront the Israeli enemy and what it does in Holy Jerusalem.
