WTO Director General Meets Qatar's Ambassador

Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Roberto Azevedo met with HE Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Qatar's Ambassador to the WTO.
During the meeting, the Ambassador deposited Qatar's instrument of ratification of the amended Protocol to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization and its Annex (Trade Facilitation Agreement).
The meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the State of Qatar and the World Trade Organization, where the WTO Director General praised the role played by the State of Qatar and its active participation in the multilateral international trading system.
