Qatar Fund for Development, Government of Tunisia Sign MoU

Tunis/ Information Office/ 29 November 2016/ Within the framework of the participation of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in the International Conference in support of economic, social and sustainable development in Tunisia, the Carthage Palace hosted today the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Fund for Development (QFD) and the Government of Tunisia on the opening of a QFD office in Tunis.

The MoU was signed by HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis al-Jehinawi.

    The MoU aims at enhancing bilateral cooperation through the support extended by the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tunisia by opening a QDF office in Tunis which will allow the Fund to finance development projects and undertake quality investments in different fields to be determined by the QDF.
