Governor-General of New Zealand Receives Qatari Ambassador Credentials

Wellington/Information Office/24 November 2016/ Governor-General of New Zealand Patsy Reddy has received credentials of HE Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa as non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to New Zealand.
HE the Ambassador conveyed HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's greetings and wishes of best of health and happiness to the Governor-General of New Zealand and further progress and prosperity to the government and people of New Zealand.
For her part, New Zealand's Governor-General entrusted HE the Qatari Ambassador with her greetings to HH the Emir and her best wishes of further prosperity and progress to the Qatari people.
The Governor-General of New Zealand also wished the Ambassador success in his new mission and in supporting and enhancing relations of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and New Zealand.
