Lebanese President Stresses Strength of Qatar-Lebanon Relations
Beirut/Information Office/23 November 2016/ President of Lebanon Michel Aoun stressed his country's keenness on its relations with the State of Qatar and on promoting these relations in all spheres.
During his meeting with HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani today, President Aoun pointed to the constructive role played by Lebanese people in Qatar as well as in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
President Aoun also affirmed the restoration of political and security stability to Lebanon, pointing out that this would encourage nationals of the GCC countries to visit Lebanon.
HE Minister of Foreign Affairs handed the Lebanese President a written message from HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, pertaining to the two countries relations and an invitation to visit the State of Qatar.
