HE Foreign Minister Meets Cuban Counterpart
Doha/Information Office/23 November 2016/ HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met here Wednesday with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cuba Bruno Rodriguez.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them as well as ways to enhance the prospects of cooperation especially in the fields of economy and investment and a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
HE the Foreign Minister expressed hope during the meeting for further partnership between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Cuba.
For his part, the Cuban Minister Bruno Rodriguez expressed his gratitude to the State of Qatar for its vote in favor of the General Assembly resolution, which was adopted on October 26, about lifting the economic, commercial and financial sanctions on Cuba.
