Secretary-General of Foreign Ministry Meets IAEA Director
Doha/Information Office/30 October 2016/ HE Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi met here today with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano.
The meeting tackled a number of topics concerning the IAEA, most importantly international peace and security.
The meeting also discussed the matter of Yukiya Amano's candidacy for the third term as IAEA Director starting from 2017 until 2021. The IAEA Director extended thanks to the State of Qatar for its voluntary contributions to the IAEA.
