Qatar Condemns Explosion Targeting Hotel in North-East Kenya
Doha/Information Office/25 October 2016/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed today Qatar's condemnation of an explosion that targeted a hotel in Mandera, a city located in the North-East of Kenya.
The explosion led to a number of killings and injuries. The statement released today expressed condemnation to all criminal acts that aim to terrorize the peaceful and take the lives of the innocent. The statement also added that Qatar's position remains against violence regardless of the motives.
The statement then conveyed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the people and government of Kenya as well as the families of the victims.
