Qatar Condemns Attack on Police College in South-West Pakistan
Doha/Information Office/25 October 2016/ The State of Qatar condemned today an attack that targeted a police college in the Pakistani city of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, and led to the killing and injured dozens of people.
A statement released today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that such criminal acts are in no way connected to the principles of Islam. The statement also renewed highlighting Qatar's position which rejects violence and terrorism in all its forms regardless of its motives.
The statement also stressed the State of Qatar and its government's solidarity with the people of Pakistan. It also expressed condolences to the government and people of Pakistan as well as the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
