Foreign Minister Meets Qatar-France Friendship Society Head
Doha/Information Office/20 May 2016/ HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Friday met MP Maurice Leroy, head of the Qatar-France Friendship Society at the French National Assembly and president of the general council of Loir-et-Cher department, who is currently visiting the country to participate in the 16th edition of Doha Forum. The meeting discussed cooperation between Qatar and France and ways of developing and enhancing it in addition to a set of issues of common concern. Leroy praised the progress and development Qatar is witnessing on all fronts, stressing its pioneering role in promoting regional and international dialogue in order to tackle challenges in the region and the world.
