Qatar Condemns Israeli Occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Doha /Information Office/13 September 2015/ The State of Qatar expressed strong condemnation and denunciation over Israeli army's storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing dividing the Al-Aqsa Mosque according to zones and times preventing worshipers from entering the mosque and performing prayers during morning time. In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered this Israeli aggressive escalation against worshipers as a serious move, a blatant violation to the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its Islamic identity and provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world, confirming the State of Qatar's unequivocal rejection to Israeli occupation's arbitrary actions. The Foreign Ministry warned of the repercussions of this aggression in and outside Palestine, saying that it would worsen tension and congestion in the region. The Ministry called on the major powers, the UN and the international bodies seriously act in order to end this serious Israeli aggression.
