Arab League Council Concludes 144th Session
Cairo/ Information Office/ 09 September 2015/The Arab League Council concluded today its 144th regular session at the level of permanent representatives. Participants agreed on draft resolutions that will be submitted to the council at the level of foreign ministers scheduled to be held next Sunday and presided over by the UAE. Following the meeting, Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli told reporters that the permanent delegates had finished discussions on all draft resolutions of items included on the agenda to be submitted to the Arab foreign ministers including developments in Palestine, Yemen and Libya as well as fight against terrorism , the Arab-European cooperation, Arab-Turkish cooperation and a number of files relating to the Arab affairs. The State of Qatar participated in the meeting with a delegation headed by its Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League HE Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain, as well as HE Qatar's Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, who is also Chairman of Council of Arab Ambassadors in Vienna.
