Qatar Strongly Condemns Attack on Iraqi Al Sadr City Market
Doha /Information Office/ 13 August 2015/ The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation of the bombing that targeted a popular market in Sadr City, east of the Iraqi capital Baghdad this morning, which resulted in dozens of casualties. In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the State of Qatar strongly condemns this criminal act that targeted innocent civilians, which contravenes all values and principles of humanity. Qatar reiterates its firm position against violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, whatever their motives and causes. The statement expressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the families of the victims who were killed by this heinous crime, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
