Qatar Continues to Aid Yemeni people
Doha/ Information Office/ 01 August 2015/ At the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari assistance for brethren in Yemen were continuing through an air bridge for carrying aid to the Aden International Airport. The first aircraft left today , accompanied by a team from Qatari search and rescue "Lakhwiya". They were received upon arrival at Aden International Airport by a number of Yemeni officials to facilitate and ensure the transfer of aid to Yemeni people. The permanent research and rescue and humanitarian assistance committee, headed by Lekhwiya, assumed the task of coordinating with the authorities concerned and prepared relief assistance, which includes foodstuff and medical materials.
