Qatar Ambassador to Canada Meets Canadian Senators
Ottawa /Information Office/ 10 June 2015/ HE Qatar's Ambassador to Canada Fahad Mohammed Kafoud held separate meetings with Canadian Senators. HE the Ambassador met with Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade Percy Downe; Chairman of Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration Committee George Furey; member of Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee Douglas Black; member of the National Security and Defence Committee Jean-Guy Dagenais and member of Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament Committee Anne C. Cools. The meetings dealt with means to develop bilateral relations in different fields. A Canadian congressional delegation visited Doha in May 2015.
