UNFAO Director General Receives Credentials of Qatar's Permanent Representative
Rome /Information Office/ 18 May 2015/ Director General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) Jose Graziano da Silva received the credentials of HE Qatar's Ambassador to Italy Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Maliki Al Juhani, as permanent representative of Qatar to the UNFAO in Rome. Graziano de Silva praised the distinctive role played by Qatar in the organization as well as the technical and financial support it extended to help in the implementation of UNFAO programs and activities that aimed at combating poverty and hunger in the world. For his part, HE the Ambassador expressed Qatar's support to the role of the UN humanitarian agencies and their noble work which deserve the international community's appreciation.
