Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets with UN Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace Process

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met here today with HE the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, who is visiting the country.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
During the meeting, HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the necessity of continuing the sustainable entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and strengthening regional and international efforts aimed at an immediate ceasefire.
The UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process thanked the State of Qatar for its continued efforts to mediate for the release of prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
