Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Turkish Foreign Minister

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Wednesday at his office with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan, who is visiting the country.
During the meet, they discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel, and ways to de-escalate the situation.
His Excellency praised the supportive stance of the Republic of Turkiye for the rights of the Palestinian people. He affirmed the continuation of coordination with Turkiye, regional partners, and international allies to halt the aggression in Gaza and work diligently towards achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's unwavering position in condemning all forms of civilian targeting. He emphasized that the killing of innocent civilians, especially women and children, and the practice of collective punishment are unacceptable under any pretext.
His Excellency stressed the necessity of continuing the entry of relief convoys and humanitarian aid to the Palestinian brothers who are trapped under bombardment.
