Qatar Participates in Summit for a New Global Financial Pact in Paris

The State of Qatar is participating in the Summit for a New Global Financial Pact held in Paris on Jun. 22-23 with the participation of a number of heads of states and the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in addition to representatives of UN agencies and specialized international organizations.
HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry if Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater heads Qatar's Delegation to the Summit.
The Summit aims to redefine the global financial structure to face climate disturbances and crises, by adopting the joint declaration of countries supporting the idea of taking stimulus measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from maritime transport.
