Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets Japanese Assistant Foreign Minister

HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met on Tuesday with the Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nagaoka Kansuke who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation ties between the two countries, especially in the area of international development and humanitarian assistance, as well as the latest developments in Afghanistan, Sudan and Tunisia, specially at the humanitarian level.
The two sides underscored importance of providing assistance to Afghanistan in health and education fields, in addition to providing education opportunities to all segments of Afghan people.
They also stressed importance of finding an urgent peaceful solution to the raging conflict in Sudan to stop the spilling of the blood of Sudanese people.
