Qatar Participates in Consultative Ministerial Meeting of GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq

The State of Qatar participated in the Consultative Ministerial Meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Iraq in Jeddah of Saudi Arabia.
The delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on a number of issues and developments in the region. The centrality of the Palestinian cause and its priority were emphasized, and the illegal Israeli practices that undermine the two-state solution, in addition to the Israeli attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the violation of the sanctity of the holy places were condemned.
They also consulted and exchanged views on the efforts made to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis that puts an end to the suffering of the Syrian people, addresses all its repercussions, and preserves the unity of the Syrian soil.
