Foreign Minister's Special Envoy Meets Afghan Caretaker Government Officials

HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met separately on Sunday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi, HE Minister of Interior Sirajuddin Haqqani, HE Minister of Education Habibullah Agha, and HE Director-General of the General Directorate of Intelligence Abdul Haq Wasiq of the Afghan caretaker government, during His Excellency's current visit to Afghanistan.
During the meetings, they discussed the most important developments in Afghanistan, especially in politics, economy, development, and education.
HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution reiterated Qatar's position supporting all segments of the Afghan people to obtain all their rights, particularly the right to education, especially for girls, and respect for women's right to work, stressing the continuation of Qatar's endeavors to support and facilitate efforts to reach a comprehensive political consensus that achieves security and stability in Afghanistan.
The visit comes within the framework of the efforts of the State of Qatar and its role in helping the Afghans in several fields.
