Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Dutch Foreign Minister

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Thursday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and means of enhancing and developing them, mainly in technology and energy investment, in addition to a host of regional issues, including the nuclear file and the developments in Afghanistan and Syria.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs warned of the risk posed by the repeated Israeli incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and stressed the need for an urgent action by the international community to stop Israel's escalatory systematic policy against the Palestinian people and their lands and Islamic and Christian sanctities.
HE the Dutch Foreign Minister expressed thanks to the State of Qatar for its leading role in alleviating the energy crisis, and valued its mediation and efforts in the evacuation operations in Afghanistan.
