Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed Mohammed Al Ansari praised the address delivered by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Tuesday before the second ordinary session of the first legislative term of the Shura Council's 51st annual session, pointing out that the address represents an integrated action plan to further proceed with the process of the State of Qatar's achievements and its excellence at all local and external levels.

In his statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr. Al Ansari said that HH the Amir focused on the economic affair in his address, because it is the major concern for the world countries amid COVID-19 fallout and the Ukrainian crisis, adding that HH the Amir pointed out, in this context, to something which is of utmost importance, notably the success made by the State of Qatar, in terms of the measures enforced at the national level in dealing with these adverse effects and mitigating their impacts, not only at the levels of public and private sectors, but at the level of placing great importance on the private sector.

Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson considered His Highness's speech regarding the continuation of the Qatari economy growth during the current year after the decline that occurred in 2020, is indicative of the stringent measures enforced at the national level to deal with the global developments and the solid Qatari economy in classifying the international agencies.

He noted that the State of Qatar is a key player in the energy market, indicating that the address pointed out to the expansion of the scope of QatarEnergy's operations in 16 countries worldwide in partnership with several global grand companies, adding that the address also pointed out to the Qatar's north field expansion project as one of the most crucial strategic projects that support the Qatari economy and the state's public finances in the long term, considering that all these achievements undergird the position of the State of Qatar in energy field, as a reliable partner at the global level.

In addition, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson underlined that His Highness the Amir has been stressing in numerous occasions on the fact that human is the center of development, pointing out that the address also focused on this crucial theme by His Highness's confirmation that the main task entails the work for building the human, the responsible citizen who is capable of being a pillar to achieve multiple projects and businesses, who is aware of his national duties and rights,who is also aware of the value of what he has, who aspires to what goes beyond the consumptive values, offers essence over appearance, understands that the religion is moral above all, realizes that the initiative and work are better than dependency that drags grappling and complaining, and the criticism is only useful when its is based on reliable information and on the comprehension of contexts, who also appreciates the role of everyone who works in this country, he said.

Al Ansari indicated that the speech of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani that the world cup is not merely a sporting event, but rather a major humanitarian occasion, underscores the approach pursed by the State of Qatar in dealing with this tournament since the country has applied for hosting this tournament, stressing that the country aspires to make the tournament an occasion for tolerance, peace and intercultural communication. It also intends to make it an occasion to show "Who we are", not only in terms of the strength of Qatar's economy and institutions, but at the level of its civilized identity.
