Secretary-General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets Director of UNODC Division for Treaty Affairs

HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmad Hassen Al Hammadi met on Wednesday with HE Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Division for Treaty Affairs in Vienna John Brandolino in the presence of HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the UNODC, and ways to expand these relations in the future.
Al Hammadi affirmed Qatar's commitment to continue supporting international activities, including the activities of the United Nations Office in Vienna, to address terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and corruption.
For his part, Brandolino expressed the United Nations Office's gratitude for the generous support provided by the State of Qatar in a way that enhances its capabilities in assisting countries, especially developing countries, in combating organized crime and related drug crimes, terrorism and corruption, and protecting the youth from the dangers of these crimes.
