Qatar Mexico Football Cup 2022 Concludes

The Qatar Mexico Football Cup 2022, organized by the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the United Mexican States under the auspices of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), concluded.
Teams from the embassies of Qatar, the United States of America, Chile, the United Kingdom, El Salvador, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Belgium, the European Union, Peru, Canada, and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico participated in the tournament.
The Romanian embassy team won first place in the championship, the Qatari embassy team came in second place, and Mexico's Foreign Secretary team finished third after a two-month competition.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Mexico Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari said that the tournament is a vivid example of sports diplomacy in preparation for Qatar's hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Also, he thanked SC for its continuous support and great efforts.
