The State of Qatar participated via videoconferencing in the meeting of the 112th session of the Permanent Council of La Francophonie, which was chaired by HE Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic and Qatar's representative to the International Organization of La Francophonie Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani represented the State of Qatar in the meeting.
The participation of the State of Qatar in the meeting falls within the context of its constant desire to participate in the various summits, ministerial conferences, and meetings held by the organization at all levels, and its commitment to the values of Francophonie since its accession to the International Organization of La Francophonie as an associate member in 2012.
