Chairman of High Council for National Reconciliation, Afghan Officials Meet Special Envoy of Minister of Foreign Affairs

HE Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, HE Second Vice President of Afghanistan Sarwar Danesh, HE Afghanistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Hanif Atmar, HE National Security Adviser of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib, and a number of Afghan personalities met separately with HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs' Special Envoy for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, who is currently visiting Afghanistan.
During the meetings, they reviewed the efforts and mediation of the State of Qatar aimed at establishing peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan, in addition to several regional and international issues of common concern.
The Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation thanked the State of Qatar for its efforts to bring peace to Afghanistan.
