UN Human Rights Council's President Meets Qatar's Permanent Representative to UN Office in Geneva
Geneva/Information Office/ 13 February 2017/ UN Human Rights Council President Joaquin Alexander Maza Martelli met here with HE Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two sides, in which Ambassador Al Mansouri pointed to the important role played by the Human Rights Council and its mechanisms in the promotion and protection of human rights, and stressed on Qatar's continuous efforts to effective participation during the Council's works.
