Qatar Condemns Attack on Pakistan Market
Doha/Information Office/21 January 2017/ The State of Qatar has condemned the bombing, which targeted a market in Pakistan's northwest Kurram tribal region, killing and wounding dozens of people.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said "this criminal act which targeted innocent civilians, contravenes all human values and principles and international norms." The Ministry's statement reiterated Qatar's firm position that renounces violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, whatever their motives and causes.
The statement expressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the government, people of Pakistan and the families of the victims who were killed by this evil crime.
