Qatar Welcomes the Signing of Border Demarcation Agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

The State of Qatar welcomes the signing of the border demarcation agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, considering it an important step towards consolidating security and stability in both countries and within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commends the determination of both countries and their commitment to resolving issues through dialogue, thus moving forward towards constructive cooperation that serves their common interests.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar’s full support for all efforts aimed at resolving disputes and conflicts through peaceful means, in order to consolidate peace and security at both regional and international levels.
