Qatar welcomes the agreement between Pakistan and India to implement a complete and immediate ceasefire, reached under the auspices of the United States of America.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that this agreement reflects the wisdom of both Pakistan and India, as well as their commitment to peace and the resolution of all outstanding issues through constructive dialogue which paves the way for comprehensive, mutually agreed, and sustainable solutions that will enhance security and stability in the region.
The Ministry also expresses the State of Qatar’s deep appreciation for the efforts of His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, in facilitating this agreement. In this context, Qatar reaffirms its full support for all initiatives aimed at reducing tensions, resolving conflicts through peaceful means, and promoting peace, stability, development, and prosperity at both regional and international levels.
