Qatar Welcomes Ceasefire Agreement Between the United States and Authorities in Sana'a

The State of Qatar welcomes the efforts of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, which led to a ceasefire agreement between the United States of America and the relevant authorities in Sana'a, Republic of Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses Qatar’s hope that this agreement will help safeguard freedom of navigation and ensure the uninterrupted flow of international commercial shipping.
The Ministry reaffirms Qatar’s strong support for diplomacy and dialogue as essential tools for resolving regional issues. It emphasizes Qatar’s firm belief in the importance of promoting peace, security, and development at both the regional and international levels. The Ministry also expresses Qatar’s appreciation for the constructive role played by the Sultanate of Oman in reaching the agreement.
