The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces' burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, and forcing patients and medical staff to evacuate it. Qatar considers this an act of war and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. It also sees it as a dangerous escalation of the ongoing confrontations, which threatens dire consequences for the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the necessity for the international community to assume its responsibilities by firmly confronting the repeated Israeli assaults on civilian targets, including hospitals. It calls for urgent action to provide protection for the hundreds of patients, wounded individuals, and medical staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital, and to compel the occupation authorities to halt their plans to forcibly evacuate the hospital. The Ministry also reiterates the State of Qatar's categorical rejection of attempts to forcibly displace the brotherly Palestinian people from Gaza Strip.

The Ministry reaffirms Qatar’s unwavering position on the justness of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
