Qatar Strongly Condemns Israeli Bombing of Baptist Hospital in Gaza

Doha – April 13, 2025
The State of Qatar strongly condemns the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, describing it as a brutal massacre, a heinous crime against defenseless civilians, and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs underscores the State of Qatar’s categorical rejection of Israeli attacks on civilian facilities, including hospitals, schools, and residential areas in the Gaza Strip. It warns of the impending collapse of the healthcare system in Gaza and the growing threat of escalating violence in the region as a result of ongoing Israeli atrocities, and calls on the international community to uphold its responsibilities in protecting defenseless civilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms the State of Qatar’s unwavering and long-standing support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the brotherly Palestinian people. This position is rooted in international legitimacy and the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
