Qatar strongly condemns Iranian attack on Iraq’s Kurdistan Region

The State of Qatar strongly condemns the Iranian attack on Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, considering it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as a flagrant breach of the principles of international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the necessity of sparing the region the repercussions of unjustified attacks, continuing the path of dialogue and diplomacy, and de-escalating tensions in a manner that contributes to fostering security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's full solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as its support for all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
