The State of Qatar condemns the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by a minister in the Israeli occupation government, alongside settlers, considering it a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a provocation of the feelings of Muslim people around the globe.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the State of Qatar's categorical rejection of the continuation of provocative incursions and attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing - in this context, the need for the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibilities towards the occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds) and its holy sites and to firmly confront the repeated Israeli occupation's violations.

The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's unwavering position on the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including their full right to practice their religious rites without restrictions and to establish their independent state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
