Qatar Condemns Israeli Attacks on Syria's Quneitra and Daraa Governorates

The State of Qatar condemns the incursion carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, and the accompanying artillery shelling that targeted a number of areas. The State considers this aggression a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and a blatant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that the continuation of these serious Israeli attacks would exacerbate tensions in the region and undermine efforts to promote security and stability.
The Ministry calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities deter Israel, compel it to comply with international law, and hold it accountable for its repeated crimes and attacks.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, government and people, stressing its firm position in support of Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, and everything that would achieve security and stability for its fraternal people.
