HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received Tuesday a phone call from HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani gave a lecture at a symposium at the invitation of the German Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV), with the participation of HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry, and HE Daniela de Ridder, a Member of the German Bundestag and Deputy Chairperson of the Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The State of Qatar affirmed its support for the efforts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in assisting Member States to establish a framework for nuclear safety, build national competencies in the field of radiation protection, and strengthen the national measures with the regional and international measures to confront any nuclear emergencies that may occur in or outside the region.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Tuesday with HE US Special Envoy for Yemen Timothy Lenderking, who is visiting the country.

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received a written message from HE President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and developing them.

The State of Qatar affirmed that it will continue to provide support to the Yemeni people to help them overcome the humanitarian difficulties that burden them, at a time when they are still looking forward to the peace and stability they deserve and to get out of the crisis as a prosperous and safe country.

The State of Qatar underlined that it attaches great importance to promoting and protecting children's rights, considering it a priority issue in its development plan, which is based on the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the related sectoral strategies.

A round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the State of Qatar and Ukraine was held in Doha on Sunday.
