Qatar Elected Vice-Chair of OPCW Executive Council
At its 105th session in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) elected HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Representative of the State of Qatar to OPCW Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani as Vice-Chairperson of the Executive Council of the Organization for the period 2024/2025.
Qatar Calls on International Community to Lift Restrictions on Delivering Humanitarian Aid to Gaza
The State of Qatar once again called on the international community to take all necessary measures for an immediate cessation of firing in Gaza, lifting all restrictions that hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid, stopping forced displacement, and protecting Palestinian civilians, in accordance with the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law.
Qatar Praises IAEA in the Transfer of Nuclear Technology for Peaceful Uses
The State of Qatar expressed its high appreciation and support for the efforts made by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to promote the transfer of nuclear technology and knowledge to developing countries with the aim of enhancing their capabilities in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy and technology, in a way that achieves the developmental goals of these countries.
