The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries underlined the critical importance of building robust social security systems to address the successive challenges that the world has witnessed since the Covid-19 pandemic.

At its 105th session in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) elected HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Representative of the State of Qatar to OPCW Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani as Vice-Chairperson of the Executive Council of the Organization for the period 2024/2025.

The State of Qatar once again called on the international community to take all necessary measures for an immediate cessation of firing in Gaza, lifting all restrictions that hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid, stopping forced displacement, and protecting Palestinian civilians, in accordance with the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law.
