HE President of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa received the credentials of HE Jassim bin Jabor Jassim Al Suroor, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President, wishing him the best of health and happiness and the government and people of Sri Lanka further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the President entrusted HE the Ambassador to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the State of Qatar constant progress and prosperity.

HE the President also wished HE the Ambassador success in carrying out his duties, assuring him of providing all support to advance the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to closer cooperation in various fields.
