HE President of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Barham Salih, met on Wednesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to HE Iraqi President and the wishes to the Iraqi people of further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the Iraqi President entrusted HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, and the Qatari people continued progress, development and prosperity.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, developments on the regional scene, and ways to de-escalate and maintain the security and stability of the region.
