He pointed out that through UNDP Accelerator Labs, it is possible to identify and give meaning to emerging trends and their potential and actual impact on development, approaches and solutions, and to diagnose those that do not work, adding that the Accelerator Laboratory network, the fastest and largest network, currently being built with their partners - the United Nations Development Program and the Federal Republic of Germany, will include 60 labs in nearly one-third of the world's countries.

HE underlined that local teams in the UNDP Accelerator Labs network will be able through the collective intelligence of 60 labs across the world, including those related to their relationships, contextual insights, and local dynamics in each country, to create a faster network of knowledge in the field of development.
