Governor General of Solomon Islands Receives Credentials of Qatari Ambassador

The Governor General of Solomon Islands David Vunagi has received the credentials of HE Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud as (non-resident) Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Solomon Islands.

During the meeting, HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Governor General of Solomon Islands and HH's wishes of good health and happiness to him and to the Government and people of the Solomon Islands further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the Governor General of Solomon Islands entrusted HE the Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Amir and his wishes for the Qatari people of more prosperity and progress.

HE the Governor General also wished HE the Ambassador success in his new duties and in strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Solomon Islands.
